So excited to finally be sharing my brand new Seniors Only site!! Still has a bit of work to be done, but I LOVE the bigger images and the simplicity of it! I also love that is is just for seniors, so I will be able to showcase more images, as well as things such as the different senior pricing and special products.
Please take a look when you have a chance!

Wow-I am still feeling incredibly honored to have been chosen as one of the only 54 photographers (out of 1000) to move on to round 2 of Matilda Jane’s PhotoLove contest! (www.matildajaneclothing.com or Matilda Jane Clothing on facebook ) A few weeks ago, we all received the same dress set from MJ to photograph and then choose only ONE image (again) to submit.
I can honestly say I lost a little sleep dreaming up possible photoshoot options… Oh, the props, the locations, and the styling options I came up with! I think I drove everyone I knew batty with my constant yapping about ideas I had! ha!
In the end, however, I decided to go with time-tested simple and not many props to keep the focus on the gorgeous clothing! After all, Matilda Jane is all about making girls smile, have fun, and feel happy and beautiful, wherever they are or whatever they are doing.
Here in Michigan, we had a huge snow/ice storm this week, closing schools all week and leaving tons without power. As a result, the trees were all covered with snow and were so pretty! So, off we went!
Have to take a minute to thank my stunning daughter for modeling-she was so excited-and loved shooting out in the snow. We were laughing so much and had the best time, even though it was 21 degrees! <3
Congrats to all the other photographers-some beautiful work has been shown-good luck to you all! I am feeling pretty blessed to have been a part of this! Thank you Matilda Jane!

Another favorite session that didn’t get blogged before the busy season hit…at least we get to look at some sunny warm images while the snow piles up outside my window! lol
The stunning Miss B- such a fun session at the barn! Be warned though…it was nearly impossible to narrow down this gallery, so I am sharing quite a few images! Enjoy!

And having some fun jumping from the hayloft!
Another quick break from the craziness to share this beautiful senior. I am so far behind in my blogging-but, at least we can look at these summer images and try to forget about the snow.
Such is the busy Holiday season-especially for a photographer!
Miss K. is simply amazing-way too many incredible images to pick a favorite. Enjoy!

Giving is awesome. Not just during the Holidays, but all year long. There is no better way to make your heart (and someone else’s) happy! I am writing this to ask for your help….
You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.
You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $750 worth, to be exact. Whether it’s canvas or albums, prints for Grandma, or a slideshow to watch over and over, it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.
Oh, and guess what else? The person who nominates the winner receives a $100 print credit. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?
The rules:
* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in South Haven does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
* The nominee must reside in Southwest Michigan. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.
* You must e-mail me the full story : stacy@capturedintimeonline.com.
The winner will be announced on December 23, 2010. The last day to nominate is December 15, so get nominating!! I can’t wait to read all of your entries!
Open your heart to someone this holiday season — and thanks for giving me the opportunity to open mine.
With love,
~stacy
